On top of the 2x4s is metal roofing.
The problem is the trusses are probably the minimum in construction code which leaves little to add storage.
It was built using pole barn construction.
When i bought the 3 4 ply wood and really to a look i had to take pause.
If the distance was shorter i would have just run 2x6 s and not touched the trusses.
Is it possible to strengthen the trusses or perhaps run a steel beam or two undern read more.
The roof has trusses 48 inches on center the trusses are pre manufactures and made of 2x4s.
The cord itself has a 2x4x20 and a 2x4x8 with a gusset plate at one of the v s.
