My ranch home is a cream color with dark brown shutters i am not a fan of brown and would change the shutters but the concrete base of the house and steps are all that color as well as is the trim of a 3 season room on the back. This color roof is most commonly used in colonial and victorian style houses which matches well with the white cream smoked yellow off white or beige light green classic peach blue or pink house color. I now have a roof color that has brown tan terracotta coloring in it similar to golden harvest.
